Uno de los artistas más influyentes del Merengue, pues vuelve al ruedo político, ahora como candidato a diputado por el Distrito Nacional. El quien fuera síndico de la Capital durante el cuatrenio 1998-2002, aspira como diputado por segunda vez, por el PLD. (Cristal y Colores)
